About the event
Connect with stakeholders from across the Rhine Neckar region in an engaging setting to explore how sustainability, innovation and collaboration can drive meaningful change in food systems. Discover how the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) can support this transformation and what we can do together to make it happen across the regional food value chain.
On October 20, 2025, HEAL will bring together farmers, food businesses, policymakers, researchers, and civil society to co-develop SDG-based actions for near-term solutions that work to transform regional food systems to be more sustainable. The format is based on 17 Rooms — an innovative initiative launched by the Brookings Institution and the Rockefeller Foundation — is designed to accelerate progress toward the SDGs by fostering focused collaboration across diverse stakeholders. The focus will be on developing healthy, fair, and sustainable regional food production models that can be implemented locally and inform broader policy and practice.
