CEO & Co-Founder
Max is the Co-Founder and CEO of Momentum Novum. He holds a PhD in Political Science from Heidelberg University, Germany. In his doctoral thesis, he compares the perceptions and adaptation measures of 192 countries to climate change related health risks. He teaches seminars at the Chair of International Relations and Foreign Policy at Heidelberg University and the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT). He is a trained scenario workshop facilitator and sustainability consultant. He has worked as a freelance journalist for many years, and has several years of experience in University level teaching. Max is a Climate Reality Leader and serves on the Senior Staff of National Model United Nations New York.
His areas of expertise are mainly the nexus between climate change, health, and migration; the sustainable development agenda of the United Nations; the interdependencies between media, politics, and society; and futurology. He frequently gives keynote speeches on sustainable development and social entrepreneurship and organizes large international conferences, such as the Sustainable Development in Action conference.
He focuses on the following SDGs:
