Edwige Cavan is a Senior Consultant at Momentum Novum and has a broad international experience. She has worked at the Delegation of the European Union to the United States and as Political Advisor to the French Ministry for Europe and Foreign Affairs, where she was responsible for scientific diplomacy and polar and ocean affairs. Edwige is a PhD candidate in American Studies/International Relations at the Sorbonne. She is an Arctic expert and has taught University courses in France and the United States. She is a Fulbright fellow.

 

Her core area of expertise whether from environmental, legal, or diplomatic angles is on maritime and ocean issues. Edwige’s research tackles the management of transboundary natural resources and of resources beyond national jurisdiction in the Arctic Ocean. Edwige has been a research fellow at Brown University, Columbia University and Duke University where she has acquired a solid education in environmental and climate issues as well as in sustainability strategies.
